Creating a Dual Boot Environment for Linux and Windows 8x/10

For a lot of us Linux is cool and is very useful, but sometimes we still need to access Windows for some tasks.  Note that there is a difference between older PCs that do not boot Windows using UEFI and those that are new and came pre-installed with Windows 8/10 and boot through the new UEFI process.  If you are just messing around a bit with Linux and do not need a permanent persistent Linux box, I recommend using Virtualbox and Installing a Linux distro in it.  However, here are some links to great blog articles on creating dual boot environments:

WARNING: I have not evaluated the articles listed below for accuracy or usability. Always create a recovery usb stick and properly image and back up your computer before attempting any of these processes. You will be changing and creating partitions on your hard drive and any error could result in trashing your existing Windows installation.
