The Past, Present & Future of Computing & Innovation

One cannot understand current PC technology without understanding the origins of the personal computer and the evolution of connectivity--from the first PC local area networks to the ubiquity of the Internet of today.  Origins of the first PC operating systems such as MS-DOS can be traced all the way back to arguably the oldest OS still in use today, with beginnings that predate microcomputers - UNIX.   1. The AT&T adds were amazingly accurate! I remember some of those commercials and I can't believe how much has been achieved since 1993.
